Cows

We have a mixed herd of purebred Ayrshires and Jerseys, as well as Ayrshire-Jersey cross cows.

Our cows nurse their calves until they are weaned when they are three months old.

Most of the feed for our cows is on pasture during the spring, summer and fall and hay in the winter. The small amount of grain that is given to our cows is free of soy and corn.
