All are welcome, including children!
In celebration of the SOLSTICE, Temple Wilton Community Farm’s Friends of the Farm (FOTF) invites you to a Silent Nature and Farm Appreciation Walk with Benjamin Meier (our cheesemaker), followed by a picnic.
We hope you will join us for this meditative walk through the TWCF pastures. Come prepared for the weather and to walk through our fields.
All are welcome.
WHEN: Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 3PM – 4PM (followed by the picnic from 4PM - 5:30PM)
WHERE: We will meet outside the farm store at 3PM.
If you’d like to join us for the picnic only, we will meet outside the farm store at 4PM.
If you are joining us for the picnic, please bring your own food and supplies.
Thanks to new member Tatum Hammer, the picnic will also include a children's craft project!
We look forward to your participation in this special event, in rain or shine.
Have a great day!
Purpose of Friends of the Farm (FOTF):
To encourage community among the Four Corners Cooperative family. Examples include; organizing festivals, community dinners, work projects, fundraising, meals for farmers, recipes, classes, cooking groups, etc.
To encourage the spirit (philosophy) of the original farm organism as we move into the future. This includes and is not limited to: Biodynamics, farm members pledging to support our entire farm organism, (thus, separating money from the purchasing of food), and farm members gifting time, talents and treasure to support the farm organism.
Donna has volunteered to insure farm property is left as it was found. If you would like to volunteer to help her with clean-up, please contact her at:
